Future Shop Ultimate Roadtrip 4

Annually, Future Shop holds a sales conference for their top performers in a "fun in the sun" destination which serves as an educational/training opportunity to learn about new products that will be sold in their stores and as a recognition program for their high performers. On October 21, 2009, 60 of the top Future shop sellers gathered at the picturesque island of the Bahamas for the exciting launch of 2 Homedics brands in their stores, Powermat and The Sharper Image. Hala Events & Communications Inc. chose a James Bond 007 theme which was weaved into all the communications pieces, the unique décor and fun entertainment which included a roulette table, a Russian bouncer, and Bond Girls serving martinis and chocolate cigars.

A thorough 4 part communications strategy was implemented which began a few days prior to the guests departure and continued until the guests arrived at the event and back home.

Phase One: Teaser email sent to the guests a few days prior to the event

Phase Two: A card was placed in each guest's hotel room before their arrival

Phase Three: Information package in a 'Top Secret Folder' which they received upon entrance to the event

Phase Four: A card and gift was delivered to their homes upon their return

Best Buy

Hala Events & Communications Inc. created an interactive holiday card which was distributed to each guest who attended the Best Buy Mobile Summit in November 2009. The holiday card offered the guests a complimentary Powermat wireless charger as a thank you for attending the event. As the guests were prompted to click to the following screens, they were eventually asked to fill out their information which was used to send them the Powermat at a later time.

Hala Events & Communications Inc. is the Canadian Publicist for Powermat and The Sharper Image, two of Homedics Group Canada brands that were showcased at CES 2010.
